Hi, I am Janine,
your photographer.
I create beautiful, perfectly imperfect, heartwarming and emotional images of loving families since 2011.
My goal is to create images of your family, so you get to hold onto a little piece of your children's childhood and they can see how you were there for them and with them.
It is important to me to photograph parents with their babies and their connections with each other. Life is so precious and changing so fast, so I want you to have gorgeous photographs of the now.
Your Family session
Lifestyle family sessions are so relaxed! We are not going to try to get your kids to sit still and smile at the camera, you are going to spend some quality time together as a family, I am just happen to be there to take photos. Some parents get anxious when kids doesn't 'cooperate', but you really don't need to worry. Kids aren't meant to be cooperative, so we're just going to go with their flow and most importantly, have some fun!
In 10 year from now, your little ones are going to be all grown up little humans. Your toddlers and children aren't not going to be a small for long and you aren't going to even notice this beautiful time passing you by. This type of photography will make sure you always have a beautiful reminder of this amazing, fleeting time in your life.
What to expect
Let's hang out, relax and take some amazing photos.
I'll meet you at an outdoor location of your choice or show up at your home, either way, this is going to be fab! In home is my favourite place to photograph families. This is where you are most comfortable and the place that holds most meaning to you. We can take photos in your home, out at the front porch or walk neighbourhood lanes. If you feel your home isn't suited I have a range of stunning outdoor sunset locations to choose from. From beaches, bushland, to gorgeous fields or forest areas. I've got you covered! Once you are booked in we can chat about what location is best suited for your family.
If you have never been professionally photographed before, don't worry, it's going to be relaxed and you won't have to worry about anything.
I won't fully pose you, but I will offer a lot of guidance during the session, helping to achieve those beautiful, natural moments you've seen in my work. There won't be anything awkward or stiff, instead it will just be about your family having a beautiful time together.
Sessions last about 60 minutes, but I don't time my sessions.
I will stay until I know I have an amazing set of images for you.

The Process
Booking your session.
Once you are ready to book, I will send you a session booking form. You will fill it out, including a session agreement and invoice to pay the creative fee to secure your spot. I only take limited bookings each month to offer the best service possible to my clients.

Preparing for your session.
As soon as you've booked, expect an email with a session prep guide.
This will tell you everything you need to know to have an amazing session.
I am always available for my clients, if you want to talk we can set up a time for a phone call or you can email me at any time.

The day of your session.
I am going to arrive at your home or at the agreed location with my camera in hand. I usually like to take a quick tour around your home to get ideas flowing and to see which areas would be best to shoot in. I will have a chat to your little ones to hopefully win them over and we are good to go!

After your session.
Two weeks after your session you will receive an email to find out that your images are ready! You will be able to watch a slides (have the tissues ready). Make sure you sit down with your partner and child/ren to enjoy this moment of first seeing your photographs. You will be able to download your photographs, including your slideshow from there. Within your gallery you will have access to my professional print shop to order prints, frames and albums if you wish.
